Mount Shishapangma is one of the very lovely mountain of China, which lies in the autonomous region of China called the Tibet, Only a very few people in the world had idea about the mount Shishapangma before the Chinese opened Tibet to the western summiteers in 1978. The Tibetans regard it as the very holy mountain. It is the youngest mountain among the peaks situated above the height of 8000m; and there are only fourteen mountains above the 8000m high Himalayan ranges. Till to date many climbers have succeeded to approach on its apex.

Mount Shishpangma Expedition begins when you arrive to Kathmandu where you meet our staffs of Monterosa Treks & Expedition in the airport and transfer you to hotel. Next day, we make introduction section with other climbing members & Expedition crews. Since then we make your Tibet visa and other necessary document for mount Shishapangma Expedition.

This Expedition groups fly to Lhasa from Kathmandu, but the expedition staff travel by automobile to Shybrubesi, Kerung, Zonkha, Shishapangma base camp and hole climbing equipments of the member are carried by the by truck with care of the staff. & all of your Expedition staff will be meeting there in the base camp itself.

KATHMANDU - Lhasa Tuesday) fly with morning about at 10:00 A.M. you will be heading to the Kathmandu airport 8 KM far from down town of City. To fly for Lhasa, This must be perhaps the most beautiful flight in the world from Kathmandu to Lhasa crossing above the world highest peak mount Everest and the other charismatic Himalayan rages. After one hour 10 minutes, you can reach Gonggar airport in Tibet, from airport to Lhasa city, It is 90km far way. You will go there either by bus or Jeep; and reach in the hotel and to take rest for the acclimatization.

LHASA: One day will be Sightseeing time frame and excursions to POTALA PALACE, NORBULINKA, THE JOKHANG and the surrounding BAKHOR market, DREPUNG & SERA MONASTERIES.

Lhasa – Shigatse: The morning drive to Shigatse and Tibet's second largest city and you can see world famous Tashilumpo Monastery.

Shigatse to Tingri: Morning Drive to Tingri via Lhatse and you reach to Shegar city and after that the Tingri is ahead on your way where your night halt will be settled. The members traveled by flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa and staff will be Kerung, Zonkha and reach in Shishapangma Base camp. All meet there.

Camp 1 - 6,730m – After 6-7 hours walk we reach in camp 2 through crossing many snowy slopes by fixing ropes in the places of crevassed.

Camp 2 - 7,045m – After 5-6 hours we reach camp 3 via steep ascent leading to very gentle ground below the northwest ridge.

Camp 3 - 7,400m – From Camp 3, it takes 9-12 hours to reach on the summit. The situation of the groups/climbers physical fitness; and also the favorable condition of the weather depends the climbing ahead.

Sometimes the extra additional days are also required for acclimatization at different places until climbers succeed the summit. If the climber succeeds the mountaineering early than the scheduled tenure they may leave the base camp before the prescribed time as well.
