Introduction Trekking Peak in Nepal

There are 27 minor peaks open for Alpine climbing under Nepal Mountaineering Association for adventure lovers. Expedition to these peaks is controlled and systematized by this association with strict rules and regulations. We can get the detail information, application for expedition permits from its office or you can take help from the member trekking agencies of Nepal Mountaineering Association. It should be noted that in most cases the climbing of these minor peaks (Trekking Peaks) required snow and Ice climbing experience as well.

You should apply for the permits along with climbing guides for your approval. Otherwise, permit will not be issued. Trekking agency facilitates qualified guides for the traveler’s safety and successful expedition. Though these peaks are considered to be relatively minor in the Himalayan standard, it can be challenging to the climbers especially during winter. The royalty for these peaks ranges from 150.00 USD to 300.00 USD depending on the particular peak for up to 10 member climbing team.
